2026 Book Sales

36th Annual Fall Great Okanagan Book Sale
Dates: Wednesday, October 14, 2:00pm – 8:00pm | Thursday, October 15 & Friday, October 16, 9:30am – 8:00pm | Saturday, October 17, 9:30am – 2:00pm
Location: Immaculate Conception Parish Hall, 839 Sutherland Avenue, Kelowna

Please Note: Hall Parking – One-Way System.
Enter the lot from Sutherland Avenue using the West Alley (closest to Richter street, beside the Church).
Exit using the East Alley (closest to Ethel Street and the Hall).

Bargain books for all ages including children’s and young adult books, large print books; gently used fiction and books on numerous subject areas. Plus puzzles & games.

Book tables are replenished continuously.

Card & cash payment accepted.

 

Donations of gently used books, games and puzzles are taken year-round to make the sales worthwhile for the book-buying public and our fundraising efforts for the libraries.
Funds raised support year-round baby, children’s & teens programming and Summer Reading Club; programming for adults, workshops, book clubs, guest speakers & author events, special new maker facilities and more at Okanagan Regional Library (ORL) branches including downtown Kelowna, Mission and Rutland branch libraries.

Volunteering

Anyone interested to volunteer at Friends book sales should go to the Volunteers Application page. Please submit a form with your contact details. You will then receive emails with links to SignUp roster specific to each upcoming sale (about 6-8 weeks in advance).
